One of the first stops you should make after arriving at Corpus Christi is our Office of International Education (OIE). New international students are required to report to our office to complete the new international student check-in process. The check-in procedures allow us to confirm your arrival and update your profiles into the university system.
To complete your check-in, please bring your original documents of:
- Initial I-20 (issued for entering the U.S.)
- International Student Arrival Form (F1 students, J1 students)
We will make copies of your documents and issue a new I-20 once completing the check-in process. Your initial I-20 will expire within one month. Failure to check-in with our office or getting your I-20 expired will result in a terminated F-1 status. Therefore, please check-in with our office within 30 days of your arrival.
